Moon Auto Parts – Return & Cancellation Policy

This Return & Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases made through moonautoparts.com. It explains when order cancellations and product returns are permitted and the conditions under which they are accepted.

1. ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Before Shipment

Orders may be canceled prior to shipment. If the order has already entered sourcing, preparation, or logistics processing, a processing fee may apply to cover incurred costs.

After Shipment

Orders cannot be canceled once shipped. Customers may request a return only if the product qualifies under the Return Policy outlined below.

2. STANDARD RETURNS (NON-DEFECTIVE ITEMS)

Moon Auto Parts accepts returns of unused, uninstalled, and undamaged parts within 30 days from the date of delivery, provided all conditions below are met:

  • The part has not been installed, test-fitted, modified, or altered.
  • The part is returned in original condition.
  • Original packaging, pallet, straps, and shipping materials (if applicable) are intact.
  • Proof of purchase is provided.

All returned items are subject to inspection before approval.

3. RESTOCKING / PROCESSING FEES

Approved standard returns are subject to a processing and restocking fee of up to 25%, which may be deducted from the refund amount. This fee covers inspection, handling, testing, repackaging, and administrative costs.

4. RETURN SHIPPING RESPONSIBILITY

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Freight returns must be coordinated with Moon Auto Parts prior to shipment.

Unauthorized or improperly shipped returns may be refused.

5. RETURNS DUE TO WRONG PART SHIPPED (OUR ERROR)

If Moon Auto Parts ships an incorrect part due to our error:

  • You must notify us within 7 calendar days of delivery.
  • The part must remain unused and uninstalled.

Upon verification, we will provide return instructions and issue a replacement or refund as appropriate.

6. VIN / FITMENT-RELATED RETURNS

Returns related to VIN mismatch or compatibility issues are accepted only when fitment was verified and approved in writing by Moon Auto Parts prior to shipment.

If fitment was not approved by us, the return will be treated as a standard return and subject to applicable fees.

7. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Installed or used parts
  • Parts damaged during installation or removal
  • Special-order or custom-sourced parts
  • Electrical components once installed
  • Items returned without authorization
  • Items returned outside the 30-day return window
